About us

We manufacture synthetic resins at Vapi, Dadra and Sarigam for customers in coatings, printing inks, adhesives and related industries.

Manufacturing network

Our technical foundation dates to paint technology in 1967. The first manufacturing venture followed in 1969, and the resin division began in 1979. Today, production operates across Vapi, Dadra and Sarigam.

Our history

  1. Foundation in Paint Technology

    M. N. Challawala completed his degree in Paint Technology in Pune. His training established the technical basis for later work in coatings and resins.

  2. Mubina Paints & Plastics

    Mubina Paints & Plastics, established in Kelva Mahim, Palghar, marked the first manufacturing venture.

  3. Expansion to Mumbai

    A second manufacturing unit was commissioned in Ghatkopar, Mumbai to support growing paint production.

  4. Vapi Scale-Up

    Operations moved to Vapi under the Panchsheel Paints name. Vapi remains the head office and longest-established manufacturing site in operation.

  5. Uniform Paints & Uniform Synthetics

    Panchsheel Paints became Uniform Paints, and the resin division began as Uniform Synthetics.

  6. Production Milestone

    Coatings production expanded as demand increased.

  7. Dadra Resin Facility

    Land in Dadra was acquired for a dedicated synthetic resin manufacturing facility.

  8. Research-Driven Methods

    Ameer Challawala joined the business after completing a Master’s in Chemical Technology, Polymer Science, at UDCT Mumbai.

  9. Leadership Strengthened

    Arva Challawala joined the business, adding responsibility for governance and commercial relationships.

  10. Multi-Plant Expansion

    Manufacturing operations expanded across Vapi, Dadra and Sarigam.

  11. Incorporation

    Uniform Synthetics Private Limited was incorporated.

  12. Current Operations

    Manufacturing now spans Vapi, Dadra and Sarigam, supplying resin products to customers in India and established international markets.

Founder

M.N. Challawala

After studying Paint Technology in Pune, he established the first manufacturing venture in 1969 and later developed the synthetic resin business.

Director, R&D and Operations

Ameer Challawala

He joined the business in 2003 after completing a Master’s in Chemical Technology, Polymer Science, at UDCT Mumbai. He leads research, product development and manufacturing operations.

Director, Governance and Commercial

Arva Challawala

She joined the business in 2005 and leads corporate governance and commercial relationships.
